Who We Are
The Regulation Station CIC is a community interest company offering Alternative Education Provision and outreach services focused on providing support and education around emotional regulation and mental well-being for young people aged 6 - 18.
At The Regulation Station CIC we believe that understanding and managing our emotions can lead to better relationships, greater access to opportunities for learning, stronger communities, and an overall healthier society. Our main goal is to go beyond managing behaviour to helping our students build deeper emotional connections with themselves and others.
What We Do
We offer programs and workshops based on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) principles. Our interventions are designed to help individuals and groups develop skills for managing their emotions, improving their relationships, and enhancing overall mental health. We also offer training and development opportunities to those involved in the care of vulnerable students and their families to share ways of working that promote emotional regulation and engagement with learning for young people at risk of social and educational exclusion.

"***** is a different child. He is happier in himself, he is more settled and less lonely, his anxiety levels have reduced significantly and he looks forward to attending his sessions. Prior to coming to TRS it was difficult to get him to leave the house. He now enjoys being out and is more willing to try and engage in things that are more socially challenging and can cope with a low level of unexpected outcomes. In short, you have brought ***** back...!!"
Parent of Year 8 student Summer 2023/24

TRS needs to expand across all of Central Bedfordshire. ****** has gained self confidence and belief by attending. - Parent of Year 9 student Spring 2023/24
Can I just say a massive thank you to everyone at TRS for everything you do for *****? She loves coming to school everyday, she feels supported and she is happy even going through everything she is. Thank you all have an amazing summer! - Parent of current Year 10 student

We have been very impressed with The Regulation Station. Communication is excellent and we are provided with weekly reports on our students’ progress as well as half-termly reviews. Importantly, whenever there is an issue we are informed straight away and we work together to resolve it. The work they are doing with our students is making a difference. What is good is that they combine academic work with mindfulness sessions as well as working closely with parents and ourselves. This triangulation means that it has an optimum impact. We would thoroughly recommend the provision!
